Gayatri & other ancient Hindu mantras opened both Nevada Senate & Assembly

Both Nevada State Assembly and Senate in capital Carson City started their sessions on April 22 with ancient Hindu prayers; containing verses from world’s oldest extant scripture. Hindu statesman Rajan Zed delivered these invocations from ancient Sanskrit scriptures before the Assembly and Senate. After Sanskrit delivery, he then read the English interpretation of the prayers.
