India’s Independence Day Celebrations Goes Virtual

With the growing incidences of COVID-related cases across Southern Nevada and the newly announced restrictions for indoor gatherings, the Friends of India Executive Committee (EC) has decided to cancel the in-person celebrations of 75th India’s Independence Day.   However, the EC is pleased to announce to have the virtual celebrations on Saturday, August 21st, 2021 beginning at 5:00 PM. Hardeep “Dee” Sull and Swadeep Nigam Appointed Commissioner on the Asian American Pacific Islanders Community Commission

The Board of Clark County Commissioners is pleased to announce the appointment of Hardeep “Dee” Sull and Swadeep Nigam as Commissioners on the Asian American Pacific Islanders Community Commission (AAPICC) for the two-year term.  The Commission serves as a support liaison between the Asian-American Pacific Islanders (AAPI) community in Clark County, the Clark County Board of County Commissioners (County Commission), and the Clark County Manager’s Office.
