The 2023 National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) announced the names of the first group of winners, with Nirav Banerji, a senior at Edward E. Clark High School, the sole winner from Nevada, to win a corporate-sponsored National Merit Scholarship. Sri Sri Radha Govinda Temple’s 5th Anniversary Celebrations – 4 Days Festival

Sri Sri Radha Govinda Temple invites the community to their four-day celebrations on the 5th Grand Anniversary, beginning on Thursday, May 4th, and ending on Sunday, May 7th, at the temple grounds. Guru Nanak Gurudwara celebrated 2023 Vaisakhi with the local Sikh and non-Sikh community by hosting the community at their open grounds. The open-to-all family weekend event attracted over 300 attendees. The celebrations started with Akhand Path on Friday, which ran through Sunday morning. Friends of India Youth Group – Bowling Event Makes Successful Debut

This past weekend, a youth group founded and led by Indian youths in Las Vegas had their kickoff event at the Suncoast Bowling Lanes. Shiva Gummi stabbed himself after allegedly killing his Physician wife

Las Vegan Shiva Gummi allegedly stabbed his Physician wife, Gwendoline Amsrala, to death. Dr. Amsrala, a UNLV’s School of Medicine graduate, recently started her medical residency. As per the press release by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, LVMPD Dispatch received a report of a suicidal male. During the course of the investigation, LVMPD Homicide detectives identified 33-yearold Shiva Gummi as the suspect in this case.
