Neonopolis owner FAEC Holdings Wirrulla LLC, a Delaware LLC, whose owner is Dharmesh Bhanabhai of Las Vegas, has sued previous tenants and related entities for Breach of Contract, Fraudulent or Intentional Misrepresentation and Unjust Enrichment.

Dharmesh’s FAEC Holdings Wirrulla LLC is suing Kastle Management LLC, dba Drink and Drag; Phantom Entertainment LLC, dba Krave Nightclub; Downtown Project LLC; Kelly Murphy and Sia Amiri.  Defendant Kelly Murphy is/was an owner, partner and/or agent of Drink & Drag and Krave Nightclub.  Both clubs were the mecca for LGBT community across the United States.

As per the lawsuit, Dharmesh’s FAEC owns, operates and manages Neonopolis in downtown Las Vegas on the corner of Las Vegas Blvd. and Freemont Street.  The lawsuit alleges that the plaintiff FAEC was fraudulently induced by defendants into entering into leases with Krave and Drink & Drag.  FAEC is seeking $15 million in compensation for tenant improvement, furniture, fixtures and equipment, $37.3 million in delinquent and future rent, $196,731 in unpaid third party vendors for a total of over $52 million in financial damages and wants payment for losses, punitive damages and legal cost. 

FAEC also believes that the Downtown Project LLC (DTP) is partner in Krave and/or in Drink & Drag and holds approximately 49% interest in the two entities.

Neonopolis owner alleges that during the renovation process, the two clubs proceeded to demolish the existing interior structure causing irreversible structural and engineering construction defects and damage.  Additionally, defendants are accused of continuing to compound these damages by conspiring to remove Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment from the premises and failing to pay third party liens, rendering the premises unfit for future leases.

Both Drink & Drag and Krave have ceased operations.   After one year of operation, Drink & Drag was closed by the city officials for failing to qualify for a permanent liquor license or business license.  Krave was closed the state for not paying taxes.

Neonopolis website does not mention Dharmesh Bhanabhai as the owner operator of Neonopolis.  The front man Mr. Rohit Joshi is the only individual mentioned in the media and Neonopolis website dealing with leasing and managing issues.
