Friends of India invites the community to celebrate Diwali 2013 on Saturday, November 9th 2013.

Enjoy the culture program being presented by our very own Southern Nevada Youth and Adults.  This event will be full of entertainment, vibrant colors and expansive Indian buffet.

This year’s Diwali theme is Band Baaja Baaraat.  FOILV highly encourage the community to come dress as you would when attending an extravagant wedding.  

This year the live entertainment will be provided by Rex D’Souza.  Rex was one of the three finalists of Fame Gurukul, one of the most watched television shows in India in 2005.  Rex has won many fans due to his personality and talent, which earned him the title of Mr. Gurukul.   Additionally the other choice will be to dance the night away with  music provided by DJ Nirav & Tony Goyal.

FOILV is requesting the community to bring a non-perishable food item to the event for donation to Three Square.  Southern Nevada has a great need for food to help those who are less fortunate.  In the spirit of Diwali please be generous and do your part to help the less fortunate.
