Eric Kohli, Esq., Running for the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Nevada

Eric Kohli, an intellectual property (“IP”) attorney and litigator with over 20 years of experience, is running for the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Nevada.
Kohli works as an intellectual property attorney at the Las Vegas office of Lewis Roca, a multi-state law firm. His practice extends globally; his clients range from Fortune 100 corporations to small entrepreneurs. Kohli serves on the State Bar’s Disciplinary Board, the South Asian Bar Association of Las Vegas, and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee of Lewis Roca. Additionally, Kohli has performed pro bono services for the Legal Aid Center (Southern Nevada) and California’s Dept. of Social Services.
“The Board’s mission includes supporting the legal community. I will remain mindful of that responsibility, particularly in light of the challenges legal practitioners face and the sacrifices they routinely make for their careers,” said Kohli.
“The values of hard work and sacrifice were instilled in me early when I came to the US at 17, alone, and put myself through college and law school with no financial assistance,” he said in a prepared statement. “That foundation, forged in struggle, will always guide my performance.”
The Board of Governors of the State Bar of Nevada consists of 15 members elected by the active members of the Bar who are residents of Nevada. The election period for the 2022 State Bar of Nevada Board of Governors election begins April 11, 2023, and closes May 11, 2023.
I previously worked alongside Mr. Kohli. As a long-standing member in good standing of the Las Vegas Business Community, I can say without a doubt that what stands out most about Eric is not only his broad & wide ranging experience in legal matters, it’s his selfless and on-going charitable time contributions to the entire community.
