Pakistani American political activist Fayyaz Raja has announced his candidacy for the Clark County Commission District C. Raja is a forty–year resident of Las Vegas and has been actively involved with the growing Asian community.  Raja, an independent insurance agent, is currently serving as the Chair of the Asian American Pacific Islanders (AAPI) Democratic Caucus and is a President of the South Asian Political Network Alliance (SAPNA).
