Local Indian American Raj is charged with the crimes of burglary and robbery.

On the heels of a local 20-year-old Ravi, who was charged on multiple counts earlier for the armed robbery and sentenced to 60 months in prison, another young Indian American, Raj, was arrested recently for robbing an individual, a woman.

District Attorney office has charged Raj with the crimes of burglary and robbery where Raj did willfully, unlawfully, and feloniously took money by means of force or violence at the local branch of Bank of America.  Raj is being defended by the Public Defender.  Defendant Raj has waived the right to preliminary hearing and will soon be appearing in the lower level arraignment courtroom.
