Mohan Keta Recognised by NV Governor for Outstanding Community Service
The Governors’ Commission on Services – Nevada Volunteers, honored Mohan Keta by giving a certificate to recognize his outstanding community volunteer service to the people of State of Nevada.
Mohan met the criteria for exemplary level of service for the Helping Hands of Nevada.
Nevada Volunteers, the Governor’s Commission on Service, strives to encourage people to volunteer and recognize people who give above and beyond. Additionally, Mohan has dedicated numerous hours of his own time at the Hindu Mandir.
Established in 2000, non-profit Helping Hands of Vegas Valley provides free, assistive services to senior citizens in Southern Nevada, allowing them to maintain their dignity and independence while improving health and daily living. Helping hands provide free transportation to seniors, vouchers for respiratory care along with a free food pantry.HHOVV volunteer drivers provide transportation to and from medical appointments, shopping trips and errands.
Mohan is a seven year resident of Southern Nevada and works for in Information Technology. Mohan and his wife have two daughters.
