Ramesh Srinivasan Outsted from Bally Technologies
Bally Technologies announced Ramesh Srinivasan will no longer serve as President and CEO and as a member of the Board.
“The Board would like to thank Ramesh for his many years of service to Bally and for his leadership in guiding the Company through the acquisition and integration of SHFL entertainment, as well as his exemplary execution in developing Bally’s systems business,” said Robbins, the newly appointed Chairman of the Board.
“I am very proud of our wonderful team and what we have accomplished together during the past nine years at Bally,” Srinivasan said. “I am confident that the Company is extremely well positioned to build on some fantastic opportunities.”
When Ramesh was promoted to the President and CEO of Bally Technologies, his first priority was the growth and expansion of Bally’s and to be a major global player in the gaming industry. With that in mind, last year Bally’s under the leadership of Ramesh Srinivasan acquired the table-game giant SHFL entertainment. It is widely believed that Ramesh was ousted from Bally’s due to ineffective strategy and management style.
