Roseman University Professor Manas Mandal, Ph.D. Honored with Fulbright Scholarship
Roseman University Professor Manas Mandal, M.Sc., Ph.D., has been awarded the prestigious U.S. Fulbright Scholarship by the U.S. Dept. of State’s Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs (ECA) Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board for the academic year 2023-24.
This grant is a reflection of the leadership and contributions to society by Dr. Mandal’ as noted in the award letter. Professor Mandal will teach medical and pharmacy students at Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. Previously, Dr. Mandal received a Fulbright Specialist appointment in 2019 and was awarded the Fulbright-Nehru Scholarship in 2022 to teach a course on ‘molecular immunology’ to the M.E., Biotechnology students at the BITS, Pilani, Goa campus, India. Dr. Mandal’s expertise is immunology teaching and research.
As a Fulbrighter, Prof. Mandal joins many distinguished program participants. Further, Prof. Mandal will be able to work collaboratively with international partners in educational, political, cultural, economic, and scientific fields.
Dr. Mandal is a Professor at the College of Pharmacy, Roseman University of Health Sciences, Las Vegas. Dr. Mandal holds adjunct faculty appointments with JSS, AHER, Mysuru, and BITS, Pilani, Goa campus, India.
The Fulbright Program is devoted to increasing mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. The program facilitates cultural exchange through direct interaction on an individual basis in the classroom, field, at home, and in routine tasks.
