Rajinder Kapoor has filed a lawsuit against Stefanovic Co./Slobodan Stefanovic alleging that investment into Mr. Stefanovic tavern is lost because of eviction from the property for nonpayment of rent. 

Mr. Kapoor signed a contract with Mr. Stefanovic to purchase tavern and restaurant at a business located at 3650 S. Jones #2.  Mr. Kapoor paid $40,000 towards the purchase price of the tavern, restaurant and subleasehold and took a possession in October 2012.  Mr. Kapoor vacated the premises in December 2012 as Mr. Stefanovic was evicted from the premises for non-payment of rents which prevented Mr. Kapoor’s operation of the restaurant and bar.
