Satish Bhatnagar, Professor of Mathematics at UNLV was recently was recommended for the Fulbright Specialist Roster.

The roster is a list of all candidates who are eligible to be matched with incoming project requests from overseas academic institutions for Fulbright Specialists. As a roster candidate, he will be considered for project requests that require his expertise. The program awards grants to U.S. faculty and professionals approved to join the Specialist Roster in select disciplines to engage in short-term collaborative projects at eligible institutions in over 140 countries worldwide. 

He was also a presenter at last month’s UNLV Academic Achievement Gala under the innovation topic area. The title of the compilation of mathematical books that he has published and presented at the event is “A Bloomer in the Seventies.”
