Seeking Used Cameras for an International Humanitarian Project
In her quest for meaningful humanitarian endeavors, Las Vegas resident and professional photographer Yasmin Tajik, has taken up a challenge to travel to Thailand to participate in a photo project involving girls who are being rehabilitated or are at-risk of the sex trafficking industry.
Yasmin is a part of a six women delegation selected to participate in the project initiated by an international charity The Giving Lens. Yasmin and her dedicated group are seeking donations of gently used digital cameras for this project with a local NGO in Northern Thailand. The donated cameras will assist the group in working with young girls who were rescued or are at-risk of human trafficking.
Yasmin’s trip to Thailand is coming up in less than 2-weeks. The camera in the hand of these amazing young girls will bring a life-changing behavior with self-confidence, self-worth, value and vision. Yasmin will be posting and documenting this amazing project on her Instagram on a daily basis.
If you’re interested in being a part of this philanthropic project and are able to donate your used cameras along with all the accessories, please contact Yasmin ASAP via email at yasmin@shalimarstudios.com.
