Special Evening with Prahladananda Swami at Govinda’s Center
Please join Lord Krishna devotees for an evening of special session on Bhagavad Gita at the Govinda’s Center.

Prahladananda Swami is a Vedic monk, Guru (Spiritual Master) and has been practicing Bhakti Yoga for over 40 years. He studied at the University of Buffalo where he was honored as one of the best students of the University and thus received a full scholarship from the state of New York.
In January of 1969 he joined the International Society for Krishna Consciousness and was initiated one month later. Later that same year, in May, Srila Prabhupada, his Spritual Master gave him the second, brahminical initiation as well. As Srila Prabhupada, had requested him, Prahladananda Swami helped opening temples in the South of the United States and preach in the universities.
In 1982, he entered the renounced order of life, sannyasa (monk). In 1989 Prahladananda Swami became the member the Vaisnava Institute for Higher Education, VIHE, in Vrndavana (India). He is also the minister of health division in ISKCON society and editor of Ayurvedic magazine “Hope this Meets You in God Health”. He is also a certified teacher of Iyengar Hatha Yoga.
Prahladananda Swami is dedicated to traveling and preaching and is an incessant source of encouragement and inspiration for the practitioners of Bhakti Yoga worldwide.
His expertise in presenting spiritual subjects on the basis of Vedic literature written 5000 years ago in ancient India as well as masterly accurate analysis of modern science and social issues are incredibly inspiring and enlightening. He is specializing in giving practical, spiritual solutions for material problems.
