Tamba Indian Restaurant is Close to the Finish Line. Jadu “Magic” is Brewing for the Discerning Diners

After a long, winding zigzag road to the new beautiful town square location, the contemporary Tamba Restaurant eagerly prepares the discerning locals and tourists for an astonishing fine dining experience. After two years of immaculate planning, designing, and recruiting a Michelin star chef and hospitality professionals from WYNN Las Vegas, the Dhillon family is confidently pleased to announce an opening of the swanky new, redefined contemporary Tamba by mid-November.

Tamba will be the first contemporary Indian restaurant in an uber-competitive, glowing, eclectic Vegas dining scene. With a humble beginning in the mid-nineties as a family Indian restaurant, the Dhillon family brought their culinary skills to Vegas by opening their first hospitality venture – Gandhi Indian Restaurant at the corner of Flamingo & Paradise Road. After opening their first Indian restaurant, Gandhi India’s Cuisine, in 1995 in Las Vegas, the Dhillon family made a courageous move in 2002 with the new restaurant venture, Tamba Indian Cuisine, in Polo Tower on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip. With the change in ownership at Polo Tower and the new owners announcing the latest development plans, Tamba decided to move to ritzy Town Square.

Owner Sunny Dhillon gave an exclusive tour to vegasdesi of the upcoming, under-construction Tamba restaurant at the charming California-inspired Town Square shopping center on Las Vegas Blvd. With an investment of over $4.75 million, the new Tamba, with over 6,000 square feet of dining experience, won’t be your typical Dad/Mom’s Indian joint. The new Tamba will be a gastronomical culinary experience allowing you to relish the contemporary Indian dining menu curated by some of the finest kitchen staff under the tutelage of highly accomplished Michelin star Chef Anand Mehra. The diverse menu curated by Chef Mehra and his team offers a host of unique culinary delights that one might not find at other Indian restaurants.

A new brightly lit high-end kitchen, over 1,500 square feet, has state-of-the-art equipment to manage the perfect cooking temperature for vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian-inspired delicacies. The kitchen highlights a high-end temperature-controlled “grow box” for fresh herbs and microgreens. Tamba “Jadu” highlights a private dining experience with its surreptitious entrance to a private dining room for the high-end clientele, the locals, and visiting George’s and Whales.

The new Tamba reflects the authentic contemporary Indian vibe for a modern, sophisticated diner with a diverse palate. Tamba’s ambiance and emphasis on top-quality fresh ingredients for a great meal, high-end furnishings, acoustics, a top-shelf bar with an aggressive cocktail program, and impeccable service will capture a significant chunk of Vegas fine dining. “With final touches and installation of high caliber kitchen equipment, custom furniture, and furnishings, hopefully, we will be up and running by September,” said Sunny Dhillon.

Moving to the beautiful open-air Town Square, Tamba is an inimitable addition to the burgeoning restaurant scene with well-known dining options like Blue Martini, Brio, Double Helix, Fleming’s Steakhouse, and more. The contemporary Tamba Indian Cuisine sits beside the famous Chinese chain PF Chang in California-inspired Town Square. The new Tamba will surely provide an upscale Indian dining experience with a clean environment where diners will enjoy an expansive, 22-foot, top-shelf cocktail bar showcasing Macallan and Louis XIII Cognac, local and imported whisky, immersive cocktails to go with an exquisite Indian cuisine menu. The 22-foot bar will indisputably enhance the dining experience for up to eight solo diners.

“The spacious dining area can accommodate approximately 100 guests in one sitting under the 24-foot ceilings. The décor, acoustic, lighting, custom furniture and fixtures, fine china, silver, and drink ware is painstakingly searched, designed, and acquired from India, Europe, and the United States,” said Dhillon.

Once opened, Tamba would surely make an indelible mark on the Indian American culinary scene for years. Prepare yourself for a surprisingly chef-driven, pleasant experience that will bring you epicurean pleasures. Be prepared to elevate your palate with the rich and unique flavors of modern Indian cuisine. With weekend/holidays/festival season celebrations around the corner, it’s the perfect time to plan your culinary rendezvous at Tamba.
