Touro University Honors Jaldeep Daulat, D.O.

Jaldeep Daulat, D.O. will be honored by Touro University on March 6th 2016 at their upcoming annual gala with US Surgeon Dr. Vivek Murthy.

Longtime Las Vegas resident and eminent Dermatologist Dr. Jaldeep Daulat, D.O. will be honored by Touro University for his commitment to provide excellence in medical field and passion for teaching & training Touro’s students.  Dr. Daulat has endowed a scholarship to assist first generation college students to attend Touro University in Las Vegas.

The Gala on March 6th at the elegant Four Seasons Hotel will honor Dr. Daulat with a Touro Award of Distinction.  The keynote speaker is President Obama appointee United States Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy.

Dr. Jaldeep Daulat is a Board Certified Dermatologist with over 25 years of Dermatology experience. Dr. Daulat graduated from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1983, and went on to finish his Internal Medicine Residency from Doctor’s General Hospital in 1984. From there, he was accepted into a dermatology residency program by Southwest Institute of Dermatology and with Las Vegas Skin and Cancer, where he would spend the next three intense years as a resident of dermatology.


Dr. Daulat, apart from practicing in Las Vegas, opened Mohave Skin and Cancer in 1984 to serve the communities of the Tri-Cities. During that time, Dr. Daulat balanced his life between Las Vegas, Laughlin, Kingman and Lake Havasu City. Over the years, his practices grew at a quick rate, and Dr. Daulat became known for his exceptional patient care and his outstanding character as a physician.

During his Dermatology residency, Dr. Daulat was trained to perform highly specialized microscopic skin cancer surgery known as Mohs. Since then, he has successfully performed well over 25,000 Mohs surgeries and skin cancer reconstructions. In addition, Dr. Daulat has played an active role with The University of Nevada Medical Center and with Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he has been on staff as a dermatology instructor since 1999. His role as an instructor and speaker has given numerous dermatology residents the opportunity for hands on learning and practicing under his guidance.  Jaldeep is an avid tennis player, a golfer and enjoys travelling around the world.

Touro University Nevada opened its doors in 2004 and is now home to more than 1,400 students, in a wide variety of degree programs including osteopathic medicine, physician assistant studies, education, nursing, occupational therapy and physical therapy.
