Financial Analysis of Indian Community Non-Profit Groups

On the financial ladder, the top rank in 2013 goes to Gurdwara Baba Deep Singh with a year-end cash position of over $ 470,322, followed by Dr. Reeta Thukral’s Global Charity Organization which is holding over $ 452,017 in cash and other liquid investments.  During the same year, there was a substantial decrease in Friends of India’s cash position.


Delhi and Mint India Restaurant named the Best of Las Vegas

Delhi Indian Cuisine and Mint Indian Bistro are named the top Indian restaurant by the Las Vegas Review Journal readers and the staff respectively.


Memorial Service – Milly Edwin, 88

Friends and a family member of Milly Edwin would like to invite the community for Milly’s memorial service on Saturday, April 11th 2015 at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 6151 West Charleston Blvd. at 1145am.  Forty years plus Las Vegan Milly, the Matriarch of the Indian community, passed away last month.

After Senate invocation protest, Rajan Zed receives letters of support

Obituary – Milly Edwin, 88

Milly was born in Madras in 1926 and moved to Las Vegas in early seventies.  Milly was the Matriarch of the Indian community, a fervent supporter of everything Indian and devoted to her Methodist roots.
