Medical Board Dismiss Malpractice Complaint Against Dr. Deb Mukhopadhyay

The Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners has dismissed the malpractice complaint against Dr. Mukhopadhyay. Initially, acting on a complaint from a patient, the Board filed a complaint and investigated Dr. Mukhopadhyay. After a thorough review, the committee has determined to dismiss the malpractice complaint against Dr. Mukhopadhyay. However, there were some issues regarding maintaining a patient’s medical records.  Dr. Mukhopadhyay has agreed to resolve the medical records upkeep issue with the Board by paying a $3,000 fine and $4,710 to reimburse the Board for its investigative cost.
