Lohri Celebrations – Saturday, January 13th, 6:00pm-8:30pm

Lohri is  a harvest festival, it is celebrated to mark the end of peak winter, this festival is traditionally associated with the harvest of the rabi crops in India, It’s also is the cultural celebration of the winter solstice. A key feature of Lohri is the bonfire, at your Hindu Temple the bonfire will be lit and people attending will toss sesame seeds, gur & sugar-candy on the bonfire, sing and dance. Please join the celebrations on Saturday-January-13th-6pm-8pm.
