Governor Joe Lombardo signs freshman Indian-American Assemblyman Reuben D’Silva’s Assembly Bill 226 to become a law. Assemblyman Silva’s bill revises provisions governing tuition for certain students in the State of Nevada’s higher educational institutions governed by the Board of Regents. The new law will make higher education more affordable by allowing undocumented students to pay in-state tuition.
