Life in Prison for Dr. Dipak Desai

This morning Dr. Dipak Desai was sentenced to life in prison, with possiblity of parole after 18 years, by the District Court Judge Valerie Adair.

 

Dr. Desai was the main architect of Hepatitis-C break in Las Vegas which originated at his endoscopy factory – Endoscopy Center of Southern Nevada.  Dr. Desai, a former NV Medical Board Chair and a copious donor for the construction of Hindu Mandir in Las Vegas was found guilty on all the 27 criminal charges.  Dr. Desai, father of three girls, was also convicted in the death of a patient due to complications from Endoscopy.
