Tech Mahindra Bags $75 million DMV Contract
The State of Nevada, Board of Examiner consisting of the Governor Brian Sandoval, Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske and Attorney General Adam Laxalt awarded a $75 million contract to Tech Mahindra to create and install a technologically advanced computer program for the NV Department of Motor Vehicles.
The five year $75 million contract will provide, design and implement a new system to replace the existing and aging client server application. The modernization of the current system will provide better customer service, reduce transaction processing time, increase speed-to-market of NV DMV products and services, enhance security and reduce system backlog.
Funding is available from Highway Funds. Infosys, Canon and Dell were solicited for this major enhancement to DMV Systems. The independently appointed selection committee gave the highest score to Tech Mahindra.
