A major milestone for Las Vegas dining, Tamba Las Vegas has been named a finalist for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation—one of the most prestigious honors in the American culinary industry.

The nomination places Tamba among the top new dining destinations in the United States, recognizing excellence in cuisine, service, and overall restaurant experience. 

Located at Town Square in Las Vegas, Tamba offers a contemporary take on Indian fine dining. The restaurant is led by Executive Chef Anand Singh, whose approach blends traditional Indian techniques with modern culinary innovation. His menu emphasizes a harvest-driven philosophy and highlights live-fire cooking methods such as tandoor ovens, charcoal grills, and mangal-style preparation.

Winners of the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards will be announced on June 15, 2026, during a ceremony at the Lyric Opera of Chicago in Chicago. The event is expected to bring together more than 2,000 chefs, restaurateurs, and industry leaders, with millions more watching worldwide.
