Kunal Kripalani has been charged on one count of Driving Under the Influence with a Prior Conviction, arising from an arrest that allegedly occurred on Interstate 15 and Starr Avenue.

According to the allegations, Kripalani was operating a motor vehicle when he was stopped by law enforcement officers. Defendant Kripalani was found by measurement within two hours after driving and/or being in actual physical control of a vehicle to have a concentration of alcohol of .08 or more in defendant Kripalani’s blood or breath. 

Court records indicate that Kripalani has a prior DUI conviction. The prior conviction is alleged as part of the current charge and may affect the penalties available upon conviction. According to previous felony records, Kripalani previously served a prison sentence related to a DUI conviction.

Following his arrest, bail was set at $22,000. Kripalani was released from custody after a bond was posted through Kind Dog Bail Bond. The filing of criminal charges constitutes an allegation only, and Kripalani is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
