Annual Indian Food Festival Returns to Downtown Las Vegas – A Celebration of Culture, Cuisine, and Community
Food lovers, families, and cultural enthusiasts are invited to experience the vibrant flavors and rich traditions of India at the Annual Indian Food Festival, formerly Vaisakhi Mela, taking place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Clark County Amphitheater, in fabulous Downtown Las Vegas. As in the past, this year also Anthem Injury Lawyers proudly steps in as the Grand Sponsor of this highly anticipated culinary and cultural celebration.

What began in 2004 as a modest indoor gathering to celebrate Vaisakhi at a Masonic Lodge has since grown into one of the city’s most eagerly anticipated cultural events. Over time, the Mela has transformed significantly, expanding in scale and scope alongside the city’s thriving and increasingly diverse Indian community. Today, it draws thousands of attendees from all backgrounds, reflecting both its cultural significance and its broad appeal.
As the Indian community grew in size and diversity, the Mela relocated to the Cashman Center, where it continued to expand over several years. Following the venue’s closure—and with attendance steadily rising – organizers sought out a larger county facility in downtown to accommodate the festival’s increasing popularity.
This highly anticipated Mela will showcase an extraordinary array of authentic Indian cuisine, featuring regional specialties from across the country. Attendees can enjoy everything from savory street food favorites to traditional home-style dishes and modern culinary creations prepared by local chefs and vendors.
