Las Vegas Review Journal food critic Heidi Knapp Rinella gave exemplary ratings for her experience at the Mint India Bistro, while Las Vegas Weekly foodie Jim Begley wrote commendable encounter with the home cooked meals at Rani World Foods.

In her full review of Mint India, Heidi Rinella wrote about the food quality, service, the lassi bar and the perfect combination of spices to go with freshly baked Indian Nan.  Heidi gave “A” to  Mint India Restaurant on all the defined categories – Food, Atmosphere, and Service.  Pluses – Great on all count.  Mint is the only Indian restaurant to offer traditional yogurt lassi with variety of blended fresh fruits.

The same week, Jim Begley of the alternative magazine, LasVegas Weekly, checked out the reasonably priced home cooked Indian meals at the Rani World Foods.
In praising the cooking style of Rani Ji at the Rani’s Kitchen, Jim wrote “Rani is like your long-lost grandmother … if your grandmother was toiling in the back of an Indian grocery store. Just wander to the counter, order from the wonderfully doting woman and grab a seat near the refrigerators.
