UNLV Fund Raising Drive for COVID-19 Relief Efforts in India
Many of you perhaps already know from the recent extensive media coverage that India is suffering a devastating humanitarian crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic currently sweeping across the country.
UNLV has a significant population of faculty, staff, and students from the Indian subcontinent who still have roots in India or are first-generation immigrants with families that have and continue to be impacted. Members of the faculty, staff, and student bodies at UNLV of South Asian origin have come together in a grassroots effort to build awareness amon the UNLV community efforts for those wanting to help. The effort spans various colleges, departments, and administrative units across UNLV. A full list of signatories to this effort can be found here. They encourage all in the Rebel family to help India in any way they can.
