Strong Turnout for Dr. Aury Nagy’s Campaign Launch Event for Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District

More than 100 enthusiastic supporters gathered Thursday night at Paymon’s Fresh Kitchen on West Sahara Avenue for the official launch of Dr. Aury Nagy’s campaign for U.S. Congress. Dr. Nagy, a board-certified neurosurgeon, entrepreneur, and 50-year Nevada resident, announced his candidacy for Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District with a promise to bring real-world solutions and conservative leadership to Washington.

Running as a Republican, Dr. Nagy pledged to restore integrity, common sense, and constitutional values to government, with a special focus on reforming America’s broken healthcare system. “We can cut healthcare costs by 30 percent and still improve quality of care,” Dr. Nagy told the crowd. “I’ve seen firsthand how government overreach and bloated regulations are hurting both patients and providers.” The event stood out not just for its attendance, but for its openness. In a bold move, Dr. Nagy invited attendees to ask unscripted questions from the floor. When asked about his political support and social stances, he responded directly:
• On President Trump: “We’re such huge fans of what Trump’s done…he’s not afraid to burn down the things that aren’t working so we can build structures in government that actually work.”
• On defining a female: “That’s someone with XX chromosomes who menstruates.”
• On immigration enforcement and ICE: “The rule of law is paramount… they’ve broken the law and need to be held accountable. Deporting them is a reasonable thing to do.”
A graduate of Bishop Gorman High School and the son of Southern Nevada’s first oncologist, Dr. Nagy is a longtime advocate for patient care, scientific innovation, and community service. Beyond the operating room, he has built businesses in the bioscience and nutritional sectors and mentored young professionals across the region.
Now, he’s aiming to bring that same leadership to Washington — to fight for lower healthcare costs, support job creation, economic diversification and tax cuts for hard working families in Nevada, protect individual liberties, and ensure strong border enforcement.
“I’m running because I love this state, I love this country, and I believe we deserve better,” said Nagy. “It’s time for leaders who don’t just talk — but who understand how to fix what’s broken,” he said.
Here is a question for Dr. Nagy:
In the congress and personal advocacy, would you support either Pakistan or India’s position on Kashmir and Khalistan?
He is running for a office in the United States of America, not in India or Pakistan
