After months of contentious debate among the neighbors and the organizers of the new Sanatan Dharam Mandir, the City Council, in its regular meeting, approved the construction of the Mandir in Henderson’s rural neighborhood. After over two years of coronavirus pandemic-related restrictions with no significant celebrations at the Mandir, Hindu Mandir saw over one-thousand members of the community coming together to celebrate the Hindu festival of Dusshera.
