For the last 20-25 years, I have been walking on the sidewalks of different sections of the Strip during the New Year Eve (NYE). Strip is a specific 5-6 mile long piece of Las Vegas Boulevard, the main arterial road of Las Vegas. Former Employee Sues Psychiatrist Uzma Zafar M.D. d/b/a Axis Psychiatry for Overtime Wages
Dr. Uzma Zafar, a graduate of Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan, is sued in the Federal Court by Marsadie Lewis, a former employee, for not paying overtime, citing the Fair Labor Standards Act. The lawsuit is filed on the first day of the new year, January 1st, 2024. Defendant Dr. Zafar, d/b/a Axis Psychiatry, employed Ms. Lewis as a Lead Medical Assistant at her private practice.
