5th Annual VeTA Celebrations

Vegas Telugu Association would like to wish everyone advance Ugaadi (Telugu New Year) wishes and invite everyone to the 5th Annual VeTA celebrations on the 13th of April, 2013 starting 5pm at Flamingo Library Theater, Las Vegas.

Vegas Telugu Association (VeTA) is a non-profit organization came into existence with the purpose of bringing together Las Vegas Telugu community and to bring out the rich Telugu culture through various cultural, educational and community activities.

During the past few years VeTA has been actively organizing community and cultural events throughout the year; Bathukamma Festival, Dusherra Mela and Christmas Toy drive to name a few.    VeTA continued the tradition of last year’s sports initiative and successfully organized various sports Competitions/Tournaments this year as well.  The response again has been tremendous.  We are very proud and happy to bring not only Telugu community but various Indian communities together thru these sports events.  This year, apart from serving delicious South Indian dishes, the 5th annual event will attempt to energize the Telugu community with fun filled activities by showcasing wide range of Telugu cultural programs. We will also be awarding trophies to the winners of all the sports competitions as well.

We attribute success of VeTA to the Las Vegas Telugu community.  In the last 5 years VeTA has been growing leaps and bounds and is only made possible by your (community) participation and cooperation.  Moving forward we hope for your continued support either thru volunteering or thru your generous donations.  To make donations kindly visit VeTA’s website at http://www.vegasta.org/Donate and click on the donate button. Alternatively, you can also send your checks in favor of “VeTA” to the following Address: 9332 TOURNAMENT CANYON DR, LAS VEGAS, NV-89144.

Hope to see you all along with your family and friends at the 5th annual VeTA celebrations on April 13, 2013.
