About the Indian Idol winners

Bidipta Chakraborty was born to a middle-class Bengali Hindu family in Kolkata, West Bengal. She participated in the TV reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Bangla in 2017 and became the 2nd Runner-up. Chakraborty rose to fame by winning the 1st runner-up title of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2021 of Zee Bangla. 

Rishi Singh is an Indian singer, songwriter, and performer. Rishi made headlines in September 2022 when he appeared as a contestant in Sony TV’s singing reality show Indian Idol season 13, which he eventually won.

Debosmita Roy has been learning music since childhood. Her father is also a professional singer, so she received her music lessons at home. In 2022, she auditioned for the 13th Season of Indian Idol and got selected. Musician Himesh Reshammiya was astounded by Roy’s performance and referred to her voice as a blessing from Goddess Saraswati. 

Chirag Kotwal participated in season 13 of Indian Idol. Kotwal gained an immense following across India. Kotwal’s method of singing has garnered impressive kudos from the judges praising him as one of the best up-and-coming singers on the Indian Idol stage.
