Clark County Board of Commissioners Approve Supriya Mirchandani’s M Realty as a Real Estate Acquisition Specialist
Supriya Mirchandani’s M Realty will provide consulting services to the Clark County Social Service, for finding housing for chronically homeless individuals and youth who have a mental illness and substance abuse disorder.
In March 2016, Clark County requested proposals for a Real Estate Acquisition Specialist. Three proposals were received including one from Supriya Mirchandani’s M Realty. M Realty is designated as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE). Commissioners have authorized the Chief Financial Officer to negotiate a final contract with M Realty.
M Realty will provide consulting services to Clark County Social Service‘s Permanent Supportive Housing Program. The clients of the program are chronically homeless, veterans, individuals, families, and transition age youth who have a mental illness or a co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse disorder. As per the contractual agreement, M Realty will actively search and develop ongoing relationships with apartment complex property management and/or property owners to educate them about the program objectives and the target population. M Realty will have to identify these properties with close proximity to public transportation, shopping centers, and grocery stores that have low barriers to entry and will provide furnishings for the units with a goal to provide decent, safe, and affordable housing throughout Clark County.
