The Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada (DSOSN) is proud to honor Dr. Neil Gokal at their 2025 annual fundraising gala, the Festival of Trees and Lights.

Dr. Gokal, a compassionate healthcare leader, is honored for his tireless advocacy on behalf of individuals with disabilities. In recognition of Dr. Gokal’s enduring legacy of inclusive care, visionary leadership, and unwavering advocacy, Dr. Gokal will be presented with the Nevada Governor’s Annual Lifetime Achievement Award at the exciting gala.

Per the DSOSN, Dr. Gokal’s impact has reached communities across Nevada, transforming the landscape of disability rights and healthcare access. His dedication continues to inspire and uplift countless lives.

Dr. Gokal obtained his medical degree from St. George’s University, Grenada, West Indies. He completed his medical residency and internship at Atlantic Health Systems, Summit, New Jersey. Currently, Dr. Gokal works at Southwest Medical’s Oakey Healthcare Center in Las Vegas.
