Diwali Celebrations Kicks Off with Ramlila Play Based on Ramayana

Festival season is here! Hindu and Jain Temple of Las Vegas invites the local community to celebrate Dussehra and Diwali festival. To celebrate Dussehra, a festival to celebrate good over evil, the local community members have come together for an epic re-enactment of the life of Hindu God Rama as depicted in Holy Ramayana.

Cultural festivities along with the Ramlila play will be held at the West Las Vegas Library on Sunday, October 31st, 2021 beginning at noon. Tickets are $10 per person and are available at the Hindu Mandir website. The culturally entertaining afternoon will emulate the religious and spiritual significance of Holy Ramayana.
