Ms. Girija Vijay, a dedicated, tireless volunteer and prolific fundraiser for EKAL Las Vegas, is pleased to announce an evening of 2023 EKAL fundraiser and concert on Friday, April 7^th, 2023, at the West Charleston Library.

This year Ekal is excited to present Sa Re Ga Ma fame, Vishwanath Batunge, and his team to entertain the donors and guests to raise much-needed funds for EKAL programs in India.

Message/Appeal from Ms. Girija Vijay:

Dear School Sponsors,

Las Vegas Ekal committee is grateful for your generous donation to our chapter which was founded on Sept. 11, 2010. Year 2022 was a very successful due to one newcomer to town, who contributed 60 schools totaling $21,900.00. In addition, one of our 5 school sponsor also made an additional $15,000.00 special project donation towards E-Shiksha (Digital literacy). We are very fortunate to have a support of our community starting with $10,000.00 one-time donation as early as 2010 under Presidency of Dr. Sunita Gaba.  So far Ekal Las Vegas Chapter has contributed close to $780,000.00 which is a big accomplishment with such a small Indian community.

With all your help we can continue helping underprivileged children of our Rural India.  Please do come with your friends and family to the program on Friday, April 7, 2023. The ticket includes dinner and two- and half-hour entertainment.
