Global Charity Foundation Raised Over $23,000

GCF’s annual gala was an amazing night of generosity, community and fun.
GCF supporters, board members and volunteers from around the country attended GCF’s “Dance the Night Away” gala at Treasure Island and raised more than $23,000 for GCF’s mission while, also, raising the roof.
The gala was attended by more than 160 supporters who gave their time and generously donated money to support GCF’s ongoing missions in Las Vegas and around the world. Generous donations were received from table sponsors like Ameriprise Financial Group, Safe Money Advisors, BNY Melon and Wells Fargo Private Bank. Also, supporters participated in GCF’s raffle, silent auction and a lively and entertaining live auction.
The highlight of the night was the attendance of students in our tutoring program in partnership with 100 Black Men of Las Vegas. One of our eighth grade students, Jelani Wilkinson, was able to present a heart-felt speech, well beyond his years, in support of the tutoring program and it’s impact on his education and future.
GCF’s supporters and their generosity pushed the fundraising goal past any previously achieved by GCF, making this the most successful gala in GCF’s brief, but eventful, history. The night closed with everyone in attendance on the dance floor, dancing the night away, after a successful and entertaining evening. Without a doubt, everyone in attendance is looking forward to GCF’s 2015 Gala!
GCF wholeheartedly thanks its donors, supporters, sponsors and friends. VZ Dance Studio dancers, Vanessa Apostal and Mario Tapia. for sharing their incredible talents.
