Message from Hindu and Jain Temple of Las Vegas

As we approach December 2023, we acknowledge that the current tenure of our respected Executive Committee is drawing to a close. We, the Board of Trustees, alongside the temple management and our broader community, humbly express our deep appreciation for the Executive Committee’s dedication. Their selfless service has been pivotal in fostering our temple’s and community’s growth over the past two years.

We are now inviting nominations for the Executive Committee positions for the term commencing January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2025. We warmly encourage our community members who wish to contribute to our journey to submit their nominations. Please email us at contactus@hindutemplelv.org with your full name, phone number, the position you’re interested in, a brief background, and your previous involvement with the temple’s activities. Ensure your nomination is sent to us by November 30, 2023, at the latest.

The positions open for nomination include:

• President
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Treasurer

In the second week of December 2023, the Board will convene to select the new Executive Committee members.

Furthermore, heeding the valuable suggestions received from our community members during the town hall meeting, we are excited to introduce up to 8 additional roles as Community Managers/Advisors. These roles are integral to orchestrating various religious and cultural functions, serving specific community needs, and acting as liaisons for community feedback. Those serving in these roles will also generously volunteer for community-specific events. We invite nominations for these enriching roles as well.
