Las Vegas’ growing South Asian community is getting a new celebration this September with the launch of JASHN, a curated cultural festival bringing together food, shopping, music, dance and the everyday traditions that connect South Asians across generations.

Presented by The Commons, JASHN will take place on Saturday, September 12 at UnCommons Las Vegas, transforming the outdoor space into an evening inspired by the sights, sounds, flavors and rituals of South Asian life.

Built around the theme “Celebrating Everyday South Asian Rituals,” JASHN looks beyond the traditional cultural festival to celebrate the little things that feel like home: gathering over chai, sharing food, discovering homegrown brands, music, dancing, games and simply spending time together.

Guests can explore a curated marketplace of South Asian fashion, jewelry, beauty, lifestyle and independent brands alongside food vendors serving flavors from across the region.

The evening will also feature live cultural performances, Bollywood dance, music and Las Vegas’ first Chai Rave, a community gathering in The Quad pairing chai with a DJ, board games and plenty of space to meet, mingle and dance.

JASHN is created by The Commons, an events platform known for building large-scale curated markets and cultural experiences in Pakistan, now bringing its community-first concept to the United States for the first time.

The inaugural Las Vegas edition is designed to create something The Commons believes the city’s growing South Asian community needs more of: a beautiful, contemporary space to gather, discover, celebrate and feel at home.
