Honorary Doctorate Conferred on Hindu Mandir Priest Brijesh Raval

Hindu and Jain Temple of Las Vegas is pleased to announce that Pandit Brijesh Rawal is conferred an Honorary Ph.D. in Priest Work by the International Astro Foundation. Additionally, Rawal was bestowed with a Brahma Gaurav award during the ceremony held recently at the foundation campus in Ahmedabad.  Distinguished Acharyas, Priests, Ahmedabad’s Mayor, and Education Minister graced the award ceremony with their presence.

The degree is conferred on Rawal to honor his distinguished contributions to his commitment to preserving Hinduism’s religious, moral, and ethical values with vedic significance and lasting distinction. Rawal has committed his professional life as a dedicated priest to advise and lecture on Hinduism spirituality, astrology, religious knowledge, rituals, and the significance of Hinduism in individuals’ daily life.

This year, the foundation bestowed eleven priests from different regions with an Honorary Doctorates.  The selection criteria included their religious experience, expertise in Astrology, Vastu Shastra, and Karmakand certifications.  The certifications were reviewed and verified by Acharyas from Kashi (Varanasi).  

At the same event, Maharshi Ved Vyas Academy named Pandit Brijesh Rawal, President of the Academy for the United States and the Public Relations Officer for Canada.

In congratulating Pandit Rawal, Jagdish Mehta, Chairman of Hindu and Jain Temple, said, “We are fortunate and blessed to have Pandit Ji Rawal for the betterment and the spiritual needs of Las Vegas growing Hindu community.”
