Asian Chamber of Commerce once again is offering an academic scholarship to students of Asian descent. This year, the Chamber is offering ten scholarships for $2,000 each to deserving graduating high school students. The deadline to apply is March 8, 2024.

The Chamber is interested in the character that exists deep inside each student, and the best way to get a glimpse of this character is to see their willingness to help others. The scholarship process primarily examines each student’s service record to our community and what they contribute to becoming a genuinely productive and exemplary citizen.

Scholarship Requirements

• Asian Ethnicity (indicate country)
• Graduating high school senior
• College/University acceptance letter (if received by time of application)
• Transcript and (SAT or ACT scores–Optional)
• Essay — “How school and community service has benefited me.”
• Two letters of recommendation
• Resume
• LVACC Scholarship application
• Attendance at the Awards reception
