Luncheon Meeting – Republican Senator Carrie Buck to Recap State Legislature
South Asian Political Network Alliance (SAPNA), in collaboration with the South Asian Bar Association (SABA-LV), invites you to its luncheon meeting with guest speaker NV State Senator Carrie Buck on Saturday, August 16th at 11:30 am at Mint Indian Bistro, 4246 S. Durango Drive, Las Vegas [SE Corner of Durango and Flamingo].
After a well-attended and insightful discussion with Democratic State Assemblymember Reuben D’Silva, the focus now shifts to the Republican perspective on the recently concluded State Legislature.
Senator Buck’s appearance follows Assemblymember D’Silva’s meeting, where constituents heard about the legislative achievements and priorities from the Democratic lens. Now, attendees will have the opportunity to hear how Republicans in the legislature approached the same set of issues – ranging from education, public safety, and healthcare to taxation, housing, and budget management.
Senator Buck, who represents parts of Clark County, is expected to highlight Republican-led initiatives, reflect on key legislative battles, and provide insight into what the GOP aims to pursue in the next session.
