Happy New Year to all of you and your loved ones! Wishing you all good health and hoping the New Year is full of new opportunities and realization of your goals.

My aim is to make this organization stronger. I am hoping that members of the Indian diaspora from different walks of life, different regional and cultural groups can come together as one. I hope we go from strength to strength with all of you joining and encouraging all friends and family to be a part of this organization. I envision FOI to be a source of help to people of Indian origin moving to or planning to move to Vegas and as an organization which can help them connect with the local community and with like minded people to help advance and develop their careers. I am hoping FOILV serves as a pool for the youth to find mentors and get guidance from established professionals in the community.

As the new president of Friends of India, Las Vegas, I want to share a new personal email that I have established – foilvprez@gmail.com – to be able to make FOI all inclusive and to assure you that every member has a voice and everyone’s opinions and suggestions to improve the organization matter. Please send your ideas, thoughts and suggestions directly to this email. I will be reviewing this periodically. I cannot promise that I will be able to implement all the suggestions made by the community but I do promise to review every recommendation on its merits and feasibility.
