Now Open – Mint Indian Bistro Ventures into Spring Valley
After over a year in planning, Chintan “Kris” and Bindi Parikh are pleased to announce their new restaurant venture – Mint India Bistro on the West side of the valley. For the past eight years and with steady clientele from UNLV to Vegas tourists, the duo have successfully ran Mint India on the East side (on Flamingo).

Originally, the Parikhs’ went into the business by acquiring the Himalayan Cuisine restaurant during the great recession of 2008 and converted the place to Mint India Bistro.
The newly opened Mint on Flamingo and Durango showcase the contemporary décor with attractive appointed full bar along with a biggest dining room experience compared to any other local Indian restaurants. The self-standing building covers close to 7,500 square feet of interior space including spacious kitchen, live tandoor station, full-service bar, self-service hi-tech wine & beer station along with a capacious dining area. The facility with a flexible space planning offers a separate room for private parties.

The new Mint is the only Indian restaurant in Las Vegas with an open display live tandoor oven in the dining area where a tandoor expert cook churns out an eclectic variety of fresh Nan breads. Another first for an Indian restaurant in the valley is Mint’s hi-tech self-serve wine and beer station serving wide array of beers and wine by the ounce. Customer is issued a card which can be used for pouring in a wide choices of wines and beers. The quantity and price is recorded on the card for a settlement along with a final check/bill.

accommodate different size groups. Front of the bar is tastefully furnished with couches and coffee tables in a relaxing atmosphere with a perfect venue for watching sports from NFL to Cricket games. For private parties, Mint also has a dance floor with a state of the art audio and video system.
Mint’s eclectic menu is not much different than what they offer at their original restaurant. The menu, vegetarian and non-vegetarian, is heavily geared towards North Indian cuisine with limited offering for South Indian dishes. Menu also has a limited Indian Chinese dishes along with a delicate mix of Nepalese and Tibetan Momo. Like any other Indian restaurant in the valley, Mint also offers a lunch buffet for $14.99 per person. On the pricey side, diners have an option to go for a Chef’s Tasting Menu priced at $43.99 for a vegetarian option and $1 more for non-vegetarian option. Mint charges extra for chutney dips and pickles.
With over eight years of culinary experience, Executive Chef Lok Neopaney will lead a team of dedicated kitchen staff. Mint Indian Bistro’s promotes simple, fresh, colorful, and flavorful food that appeals to all five senses.
