Pure Indian Cuisine Reopens; Liquor License Denied

Pure Indian Cuisine is reopened with a temporary business license after a short hiatus due to unexplained licensing issues. After the closure and suspension of the business license to operate the restaurant, Pure is reopened with limited operations. Most recently the popular Pure Indian Cuisine is named the Bronze winner in the Review Journal’s Best of Las Vegas Indian restaurant category.
In November, the Clark County Business License department shut down the popular Indian restaurant due to unknown irregularities. During the closure, Pure posted the notice “Pardon Our Dust” on their social media account with no reference to the business licensing issues. On November 14th, Pure was reopened with a temporary license for food service only.
Currently, the restaurant is operating without a liquor license which is denied by the County licensing department. Additionally, Pure has been denied a license to operate the Hookah Lounge. Pure’s Incidental Activity Permit which is used by supper clubs for live entertainment at the establishment is suspended. As per the County licensing department, a supper club must first obtain a permit prior to offering any live entertainment, which includes, but is not limited to, the performance of acts, music, speech, dance, acrobatics, disc jockeys, karaoke, or display.
