Ravi Bheemappa Gets Probation After Trying to Meet Teen for “Full Service”

In October of 2024, Ravi Bheemappa, who had been married for over 30 years, was caught during a sting operation trying to solicit online a child for prostitution. In December 2024, the State charged Bheemappa with one count of soliciting a child for prostitution, a category D felony in Nevada.
Per the court filings, defendant Ravi Bheemappa was accused of willfully and unlawfully soliciting Las Vegas City Marshal, who was posing as a child, by word, gesture, and/or by other written and/or verbal means to engage in sexual conduct, to wit: “full service” and/or full sexual intercourse for $150.
In January 2025, Bheemappa was arraigned and pled guilty to soliciting a child for prostitution. The court accepted the plea and referred the matter to the Division of Parole and Probation for a Presentence Investigation Report and psychosexual evaluation.
The State prosecutor stated this charge did not require defendant Bheemappa to register as a sex offender. Bheemappa will avoid any prison time. He has accepted all the terms of his probation, which included regular check-ins with Parole and Probation, consent to searches of his home and electronic devices, maintaining steady employment, meeting all financial obligations, and more.
Bheemappa’s family and many successful C-suite executives wrote heartfelt letters to Judge Christy Craig—including his sister, wife, and a close friend—urging her to show leniency during sentencing.
Bheemappa’s sister, Devi De Luca, Executive Chairman of DELSYS, wrote – “Throughout his life, Ravi has been someone who genuinely cares about others. I have witnessed him volunteer and contribute to the community on several occasions, offering his time and resources to those in need. He has always been a person who strives to make a positive impact on those around him.” De Luca continued, “I am aware that Ravi made a mistake, and he deeply regrets his choices that have led to this moment. I know he is sincerely remorseful and has been working to reflect on his actions and make changes…I know that this experience has been a wake-up call for him, and he is determined to prove himself worthy of your consideration for leniency.”
Bheemappa’s close friend of over 20 years, Siva Kumar, President of CloudSquare Inc., requested Judge Craig to consider his (Bheemappa) overall character, his positive contributions over the years, and the steps he’s taken to make amends. Kumar added, “I believe he deserves an opportunity to demonstrate that this incident was an aberration in an otherwise responsible life.” “This experience has become a turning point for him – he’s already attending counseling and seeking professional help,” wrote Kumar, asking for leniency in sentencing.
Sumana Veerabhadrappa, Bheemappa’s wife of 30 years, reflected her husband, Ravi Bheemappa, as compassionate, honest, generous, and caring person. In a succinct letter to Judge Craig, she wrote, “I/m requesting you to see my husband as I do – a good decent man who made a serious mistake. Please consider his character, his contributions to our family and community, and his commitment to redemption.”
