Sitar Maestro Ustad Shahid Parvez Live
India Fine Arts Association of Nevada is pleased to announce the live performance by Sitar Maestro Ustad Shahid Parvez on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at the West Charleston Library.
India Fine Arts Association of Nevada has been organizing outstanding concerts of Indian classical music since their founding early 2023. Now they are ready to present a block buster concert by a leading musician of India. Ustad Shahid Parvez is widely regarded as one of the finest sitar maestros at the present time. He is the current doyen of the famous Etawah gharana (tradition or school of music) which has produced the legends like Ustad Imdad Khan, Enayet Khan, and Vilayat Khan. He has been mesmerizing the audience at the prestigious music festivals in India, USA, Europe, Canada, Middle East & Australia and his name has become synonymous with sitar. He has been awarded Sangeet Natak Academy Award in 2006 and Padma Shri in 2012. The music lovers of Nevada will be treated with a lifetime experience of hearing one of the greatest maestros of sitar in person.

Dear Mastersitar, we appreciate your feelings. The community here in Las Vegas is fortunate to have someone of Ustad Shahid Parvez Ji’s stature to come and share his music with us. And, India Fine Arts Association of Nevada is very proud to be able to bring Ustad Ji’s music here.
