UNLV Business School Dean Anjala Krishen Invites Community to Shape the Future of College of Business at UNLV
Dr. Anjala Krishen, Ph.D., the newly appointed Dean of the Lee Business School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, made history by becoming the first woman and the first Indian-American to hold this prestigious position. With close to two decades of dedication to UNLV, including her role as Chair of the Department of Marketing, Dr. Krishen brings a deep understanding of both the academic and local business landscapes.
As Dean, Dr. Krishen is committed to strengthening connections between the Lee Business School and the broader Las Vegas business community. Her vision includes building partnerships that empower the next generation of students, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.

One of her major initiatives is spearheading the development of a new, state-of-the-art building for the growing business school. A key part of this vision involves strategic fundraising and working closely with local stakeholders and members of the prosperous Indian-American community to secure support for the school’s future.
Within just weeks of stepping into her new role as Dean, Krishen launched the ambitious Building Business Together campaign. She has hit the ground running—actively engaging with community members and leading a bold fundraising initiative to support one of the most diverse student populations in the nation by investing in new business school infrastructure.
“The proposed building will be phenomenal. It will take 3 years to secure the funding and should be fully up and in place by 2030,” said Anjala Krishen, Dean, Lee College of Business, UNLV.
Per Krishen, there are many opportunities for the donor to name spaces in the building. “We are looking for $500K and up to have some of the larger spaces named. However, there are also naming opportunities for lower donation amounts, and all donations are welcome,” said Krishen.
Donors are invited to join The Founders Circle, an exclusive group of visionary leaders and community partners who are helping shape the future of UNLV. Members of The Founders Circle will play a key role in supporting the development of a new, state-of-the-art business building, designed to be a dynamic hub for innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurial growth in Southern Nevada and beyond.
Currently, the LEE College of Business houses the Center for Business & Economic Research, the Lied Center for Real Estate, the Kerestesi Center for Insurance & Risk Management, and the Troesh Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
Dean Krishen is available to meet with prospective donors who are interested in making a future pledge to support higher education. This is a unique opportunity to invest in the local community and honor your loved ones through naming opportunities within the UNLV College of Business.
This is an excellent opportunity for the highly successful Indian-American community to honor their loved ones and leave a lasting legacy by supporting higher education in Las Vegas.

Dear Dr. Anjala Krishen:
I wish you well and a great success in realizing your dream of reshaping the future of the UNLV Business School! It is a worthy effort!!
