Indian Food Festival Attracts Diverse Crowd to Downtown Las Vegas

2019 marked the 16thyear of Vaisakhi/Indian Food Festival celebrations organized by the Baba Deep Singh Gurudwara.  The event was attended by over seven-thousands Southern Nevadans with higher participation from non-Indians compared to the previous years. Celebrate Rath Yatra Festival at ISKCON Temple

ISKCON Las Vegas invites the community from all faiths to celebrate the 1st anniversary celebrations and Lorg Jagannath Rath Yatra at the ISKCON Temple on Sunday, May 19th at the Desert Bloom Park.  The Chariot “Rath” Yatra festival will start from the community park, flowing through the neighborhood streets followed by celebrations at the ISKCON temple. The celebrations at the temple will include food festival with many food stalls selling diverse Indian vegetarian cuisine along with entertaining children activities.
